Message from Asaf Atasoy on the 187th Anniversary of the Gendarmerie Organization

Asaf Atasoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asfa Holding and a philanthropic businessman, issued a message on the occasion of the 187th anniversary of the Gendarmerie Organization.

Asaf Atasoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asfa Holding, included the following statements in his message;

We are proud and happy to celebrate the 187th anniversary of the Gendarmerie Organization, which serves with a superior sense of duty in protecting the indivisible integrity of our homeland and ensuring peace and security in our country.

Our Gendarmerie Organization, which selflessly serves in the fight against crime and criminals, from counter-terrorism and maintaining public order to traffic safety, smuggling, and organized crime, not only ensures the security of our nation in the most remote villages and towns of our country but also strengthens the relationship between the state and its citizens in these areas.

Drawing strength from its glorious past and the support it receives from our esteemed nation, the Gendarmerie Organization has always been a source of pride and confidence for our people through its achievements.

With these feelings and thoughts, while fulfilling their duties with love and loyalty to their homeland, nation, and Republic, and demonstrating humility, selflessness, and sacrifice, I celebrate the 187th anniversary of the Gendarmerie Organization, the oldest law enforcement agency of the Republic of Turkey; I commemorate our heroic martyrs with mercy and respect, and our veterans with gratitude. I wish success to our Gendarmerie personnel currently on duty.
