On July 2, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkiye, Sodiq Imomi, held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkiye, Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkiye, Mehmet Fatih Kacır.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade and industry. They also addressed the organization of the next session of the Intergovernmental Co mmission in Dushanbe. Both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen economic relations and to coordinate efforts toward the implementation of joint projects.
