Participation in the meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries

On 11 December 2022 in Ashgabat the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda participated and addressed the 12th meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries.
During his statement the Deputy Minister expressed his views on the importance of joint fight against modern threats and challenges, including terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime and climate change problems.
Deputy Minister Huseizoda briefed the participants on the efforts of the Government of Tajikistan to strengthen dialogue, especially within the framework of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), in order to find effective ways to counter the above threats.
At the same time, the attention of the participants was drawn to the “Dushanbe Process on countering terrorism”, as well as high-level international events organized within the framework of this process.
